How we work with halls
What happens once you tell us the venue.
We contact the venue, not you
Access time, what can be fixed to walls, whether their staff need to be present, and when we have to be out. We sort that directly with the hall so it is not another thing on your list.
We plan backwards from guest arrival
Not forwards from when it suits us. For a hall setup that usually means starting five to eight hours before your first guest, and for larger builds the evening before.
We work around the house lighting
Most halls are lit with cool white overheads that flatten everything and make skin look grey in photographs. We ask for those to be switched off over the stage area and bring our own warm lighting.
We take it all down
Same night or the next morning, depending on what the hall allows. It is in the quote, not a separate charge.
Before you book the hall
Six questions worth asking.
These decide what is possible with the decoration, and they are much easier to ask before you pay the venue than after.
- 01 What time can decorators access the hall, and what time must we be out?
- 02 Can anything be fixed to the walls or ceiling, or must everything be free-standing?
- 03 Is there an in-house decorator you are required to use, or can we bring our own?
- 04 Are chairs, tables and linen included, and in what colour?
- 05 Can the overhead lights be switched off or dimmed separately over the stage?
- 06 Is there a separate charge for bringing in outside decor?

Questions about this venue.
Do you take bookings at DHA event halls?
Yes — we take decoration bookings for events at DHA event halls and across DHA, Lahore. Send us your date and what the event is, and we come back with a design direction and a fixed quote within 24 hours.
Do we need to arrange access for you?
No. Once you tell us the venue and date, we contact the hall ourselves about access times and what they allow to be fixed to walls.
What if the venue has its own decorator?
Some halls require you to use theirs. Worth asking them before booking us — if they do, we will tell you straight away rather than taking a booking that cannot go ahead.
Is the quote fixed?
Yes. It covers design, materials, installation and takedown. It only changes if you ask for something extra after the quote is agreed, and we tell you the cost first.
How far in advance should we book?
Two to four weeks in wedding season (October to March), one to two weeks outside it. If your date is sooner, message us anyway — we keep a few slots open for short-notice work.
